If your local Grifols Plasma Center doesn't accept appointments, walk-ins are accepted.

What To Bring

  • Proof of your current address or residency (Drivers license that lists your current address, mail from the last 30 days, current lease, utility bill, etc)

Preparation Tips

Before donating your plasma, make sure to:
  • Drink 4 to 6 eight-ounce glasses of water, fruit juice, or other caffeine-free beverage at least 2 to 3 hours before donating
  • Don't drink alcohol 24 hours before you donate
  • Avoid smoking for 2 to 3 hours before donating
  • Avoid strenuous activity 1 hour before donating
  • Eat a meal with high protein and iron within 2 hours of your donation
  • Get a restful night of sleep
  • Skip your donation if you're feeling sick
  • Write down all the medications you're taking to make sure donating plasma is right for you
